Michael Rojas on The Jimmy Fallon Show with Stevie Nicks!

by: Brent Raynes

Michael Rojas, recipient of ACM’s Piano/Keyboard Player of the Year Award in 2010 and 2013, will be performing with music legend Stevie Nicks on The Jimmy Fallon Show on November 3rd! He has played musical back-up for many well-known stars, and quite recently did some studio recording work with Crystal Gayle. Michael, whose wife Vallie Rojas, a singer herself since age 18, was the subject of an interview in our magazine awhile back (Link). Vallie is also a ghost hunter and the founder of Earthbound Spirit Hunters Middle Tennessee. They are both looking forward to their upcoming trip to New York City. In fact, when I ran into the couple recently at one of our mutually favorite paranormal sites, the decidedly haunted home of Sandy and Sherrie Nichols of Thompson Station, TN., a place ghost hunting folks have nicknamed The Paranormal Palace, I asked Val if she had considered checking out any haunted locations while in the Big Apple, and I wasn’t surprised to learn that she had a location or two already in mind.

Michael isn’t as into the paranormal nearly as much as his wife is, but he keeps an open mind, and I understand recently had his very own first sighting of a ghostly shadow person. "He was shocked!” Val quipped. “We will make him a Ghost Hunter after all!” Here’s a You Tube video of a performance this couple did together recently where Michael is on the piano and Val is singing an old Billie Holiday classic from 1946, entitled Good Morning Heartache. (Link).

Mark your calendars and don’t miss the show! I wouldn’t be surprised if Val comes back with some very interesting new paranormal stories too. Stay tuned!
