An interview with UFO researcher Forest Crawford

By Brent Raynes

Interview

Forest Crawford’s interest in the UFO phenomenon began back in 1967, near Hardin, Illinois, at the age of 10, when he and three others observed the landing of a disk-shaped craft with windows and three landing legs. At 13 he began reading about all things UFO related and amassed a collection of over 250 books by age 16. At 18 he gave a presentation on “Propulsion Theory and Detection methods of UFOs” for the UFO Study Group of Greater St. Louis, Missouri. In 1989 he was appointed Assistant State Director for the Mutual UFO Network and became the MUFON State Director in 1991 and served in that capacity for 11 years. In the mid-1990’s he was also appointed as the Staff Computer Specialist for MUFON after creating the first computer database for moving the paper records to digital files. Forest has presented his research at conferences all over the US including 21 of the 30 Ozark UFO Conferences. His work has been quoted in books and published in magazines. He has appeared on countless radio shows, several TV documentaries, and was a consultant on a made for TV movie. But as you’ll discover as you listen to this highly thought-provoking and fascinating interview, Forest’s journey in this field has taken him down some truly high strange rabbit holes.
