Creatures in the Night

The main witness had just returned to her home after spending a few weeks visiting her daughter in her new rental home in Rapid City, about an hour north. She was looking forward to getting a good night’s sleep, in her own bed, so she crawled in and laid down on her left side. The bedroom doorway and closet were to her back and she was facing the window side of her room. They had an outdoor light that gave the room a soft glow, so it was not completely dark. She never liked a dark room to where she was not able to see at night if she needed to get up to go get water or use the bathroom.
Around 2 o’clock in the morning, she woke up and felt like she needed to roll over. As she turned, she saw something immediately, standing right next to her side of the bed. She looked up and it was looking down at her, standing about 4 feet tall, she saw it clearly in the light that was coming in through the bedroom window. It looked female, by its features, a black figure with a teardrop-shaped head, wrinkled face, and had its hands clasped together at its chest like it was holding something in two hands, close to its body. The witness drew a deep breath and shut her eyes. She was so frightened that she could not even scream or speak. She just froze and held her breath and when she opened her eyes again, it was gone. In the morning she told her husband what she had seen. He proceeded to tell her that two nights before he had woken up in the middle of the night, looked up at the ceiling and saw two alien creatures hovering above him. He lost his breath and almost screamed in the middle of the night.
The faces of the entities were skeleton-like, with spiny protrusions coming out from the edge of the eye socket areas, elongated faces of rough bone and gaping mouths with long pointed teeth. They were dressed in some sort of cloaks, clothing that is not quite easily described. When he saw them, he said that they were hovering five feet above his face, and they appeared to be snarling at him with those deadly teeth. They were bone white and were solid figures. They were clearly visible, and he was wide awake staring back at them. But when he lost his breath, they seemed to just vaporize and vanished before his eyes.
