An interview with Orville and Cheryl Murphy of Arkansas’ Board Camp Crystal Mine and all of the strange things that happen there.

In 2012, upon discovering quartz crystals on their property, Orville & Cheryl Murphy opened Board Camp Crystal Mine. The mine is located 10 miles east of Mena, Arkansas, and is open to the public for old fashioned rock-hounding. The Murphys did not want to use heavy equipment to destroy the land, but to keep the mine all natural. According to Native peoples the crystal mine land is sacred. The night of February 18, 2017, the Murphys witnessed a mystifying light event in the mine that changed their lives forever. That night they saw 3 beams of white light appear to shoot up 300 feet into the night sky. Since then, they began to see other phenomena, both celestial and terrestrial, including orbs and rock levitation caught on game cameras! This news attracted the attention of a MUFON investigation, and Josh Gates of “Exhibition Unknown" to film at the mine. Gates caught an actual UFO on camera during the filming which viewers see in the show! The Murphy's went public with their story hoping to find answers for themselves, as well as for others. In addition to offering crystal digging, the Murphys host the "UnXplained Tours" for the public to have an opportunity to come to the mine, to experience some of the phenomena for themselves. To this day, the phenomena continues… and hundreds of visitors have witnessed the manifestations, which are diverse and on the increase! What is the cause? Crystal energy? Fringe science? Spirits? Aliens? And… Sasquatch?
Most astounding of all… these “beings” are making contact with the Murphys and their visitors, in the most interesting and unusual ways! And it’s all GOOD! There has never been any fear or harm come to the Murphys or their visitors. The Natives told them the phenomenon is happening there because the Murphys respected the Earth.
