An exclusive interview with Keith Thompson, acclaimed author of The UFO Paradox and his earlier classic Angels and Aliens.

Keith Thompson, a noted independent journalist, is the author of Angels and Aliens: UFOs and the Mythic Imagination (1991), a book that has long held an honored place in my home library. Now after the release of his newest book The UFO Paradox: The Celestial and Symbolic World of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, I knew that I just had to take this opportunity to do an interview with him for this magazine. Thompson is not a new kid on the block here. He has been investigating UFO related phenomena for several decades now and has taken a deep dive into the high strange dimensions of this complex and controversial subject. He challenges the ufological mainstream’s myopic stranglehold and belief ridden focus upon limited models of physical reality when there are other ways of exploring and thinking about the relationship between matter and mind in light of enigmatic descriptions of UFO behaviors and characteristics that we have failed to adequately consider.
