Melinda Burris Fouth described her encounter to author and researcher, Barton Nunnelly, “I had turned south on Cunningham Road headed towards Highway 58. This thing was crossing a parking lot behind a McDonald’s and a Pepper Jacks. It looked like a German Shepherd dog or wolf. I was driving down the road and had slowed down to watch it and somewhat making sure it didn’t run in front of me and hit it. Once it hit the road from going across the parking lot, it stood up and turned into a human being! It totally freaked me out. I prayed it didn’t see me and got out of the area as fast as I could. The crazy thing went up behind the apartments into the timbers.”
Melissa repeated the events to Nunnelly. “I had slowed down to give it a right of way when it raised up and turned into a human man…” It was walking across Cunningham. She hurried and did not stick around hoping it did not see her. The change took place within three minutes or less, very quickly. He caught her off guard and she was not expecting it because it looked like a regular dog, or wolf to her. It had short shoulder length hair and walked and looked like a normal human man.
