Brazilian encounter with strange being

The witness, Otavio Muniz, suddenly woke up to see a strange presence beside him. A being that he could only compare to an alien, with wide and deep eyes, delicate and gray skin, no ears, thin arms and four fingers in each hand. One of his hands held a long, thin needle, which penetrated gently into Muniz’s left nose. He tried to move, but he was paralyzed by fear. Only his eyes moved, trapped in the entity’s ‘icy gaze.’
“Don’t worry human,” the entity’s voice echoed in Muniz’s mind. “My mission is to collect crucial genetic data for the scientists in my world. Your cooperation is essential for us in understanding the complexities of human life across all age groups.” The pain was instantaneous, similar to an exposed cavity. A stream of blood flowed. Muniz was at the mercy of the entity. Suddenly the entity transformed into transparent smoke and vanished, leaving no trace.
