The normal evolution of intelligent life has everything to do with artificial intelligence. It's the progressive steps forward. We are progressing fast with quantum computers, to the point where the AI will reach its singularity really soon. Where it becomes aware and surpasses human intelligence. I think from what is predicted by MIT scientists, that its really soon, like a couple of years. Though, it wouldn't surprise me if it hadn’t already happened.
All this major strangeness is quantum on nature. OBEs are quantum in nature. So, yea, this is amazing, and it makes sense that it will be a Quantum AI that will be able to see and witness it.
