Philip K. Dick (1928-1982) was a popular science fiction novelist. He was the author of such popular classics as “A Scanner Darkly,” “VALIS,” and “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” In addition, popular movies, such as “Blade Runner,” “Total Recall,” and “Minority Report” were based on his works. However, Dick was also very unique and noteworthy for other deeper and more profound reasons besides being a good writer of fiction, for which this book The Matrix Control System of Philip K. Dick and the Paranormal Synchronicities of Timothy Green Beckley is devoted. It begins with an introduction by his surviving widow, Tessa Dick, who writes: “Tim Beckley has a firm handle on the nature of the strange incidents that occurred in the life of my husband, Philip K. Dick. Whereas many writers have chosen the easy way out, offering explanations ranging from epilepsy to drug abuse, Beckley has dug deep into the story of Phil's life and unearthed evidence that such things really do happen to many people. While Phil often questioned his own sanity, I observed many of the seemingly paranormal events that began in 1974.” She added that he had actually had strange experiences going back to his childhood and that he'd had an aunt who was a trance medium.

A variety of other authors contributed to this book. Well-known prolific writer Brad Steiger contributed a chapter describing how in 1981, shortly after the publication of his book “The Star People,” he received a letter from Philip Dick explaining how he felt that he fit the Star People profile that Steiger had written about. Back in 1974, a year when a series of strange experiences began to unfold for Dick, including a vision of himself coming to earth on a spaceship back in prehistoric times, a mysterious feminine voice identifying itself as Ruah, showed him in a vision the cover of Brad's book, Revelatiion: The Divine Fire, published in 1973. The voice told him he should read it and that it would help him to understand what was happening to him, and that he should get in contact with the author. The two authors soon were engaged in steady correspondence and several late-night phone conversations. After Mr. Dick had described how his vision of Brad's book and Ruah's message had prompted him to contact Brad, Brad had a surprise for him! “The essence of The Divine Fire had been given to me in 1969 during a late night encounter with a hooded entity,” he writes. “To silence my inquisitive – and startled – mind, the mysterious visitor placed me into a deep sleep. But in the morning I arose with the complete outline of Revelation: The Divine Fire in my awakened consciousness. The book was published in 1973, about a year before Phil received the vision from the Ruah advising him to read it.”

Tim Beckley used what other authors had to contribute about PKD (Philip K. Dick), as well as others like myself who had written material that explored similar ideas and experiences relevant to the things that PKD had described. Tim shared many extraordinary personal sychronicities in his own life. In fact, in this issue you can listen to an audio interview I recently did with Tim about some of these events and about PKD. Diane Tessman, a researcher and experiencer herself, explored if human DNA could download memory, as PKD had explained to Brad Steiger that for a whole year, begining in February 1974, his “DNA memory packet,” which he referred to as “phylogenic memory,” was activated. He wondered if Brad's “Star People” were some part of this possible DNA firing implanted by ancient extraterrestrials as well. Diane also delves into the theory that we may be part of a highly sophisticated simulated universe. Other contributers adding additional thought-provoking information and insights to this fascinating book are Sean Casteel, Tim Swartz, Nick Redfern, Valerie D'Orazio, Cynthia Cirile, Hercules Invictus, and Joseph Green. There's even a thought-provoking chapter that was originally penned by PKD himself entitled Once Upon A Mad Little World, providing personal details of his psychic awakening.

440 pages of lavish photographs and illustrations, and chalk full of detailed accounts and theories, from noted ufologist Ray Fowler, Swiss psychologist Carl Jung, noted authors and researchers Marie Jones, Nick Redfern, John Keel, Jacques Vallee, Tim R. Swartz, Sean Casteel, and many, many more. A very well-rounded, eclectic variety of personalities and bizarre stories that will take you to the proverbial teetering edge of our consensus reality.

Jim Marrs is the author of such New York Times bestsellers as Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy (which was the basis for Oliver Stone's movie, “JFK”) and Rule by Secrecy. Thus he's the perfect author for Illuminati. Encyclopedic in scope, with 120 photographs and illustrations, this author delves deeply into the convoluted history, details, connections, influences, symbols, and present day workings associated with this controversial and shadowy society of ancient origins.

Marrs embarks on a global and historical search for answers and origins, connecting numerous and tantalizing dots from the ancient Cabala, Essenes, the Knights Templar, Rosicrucians, Freemasonry, and Zionism, to the more contemporary activities associated with the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Adamses, and Bushes. Marrs strives to leave no stone unturned as he painstakingly tackles the many hidden layers of information and disinformation in a determined attempt to uncover, untangle, and expose the concealed truths buried within the complex and very confusing historical background of what is simply called the Illuminati.

Interpreting the meaning and symbolism presented in our dreams is a most challenging and often uncertain task. However, author J.M. DeBord makes the interpretation process a good bit more easy and much less perplexing by offering an alphabetical listing of the many different meanings and associations connected with many different symbols and scenarios to be found many times in our nightly sojourns into dreamland.

Everyone's dreams are a bit different and personal to them, but because we share and have been shaped by many of the same social and cultural influences, our dreams often reflect similar, archetypal type themes and symbols. DeBord's book is a compiled treasure chest of a vast number of common dream symbols and scenarios and the various meanings and interpretations that have emerged from them.

Empire Beneath the Ice:
How the Nazis won World War II,

“This is what makes the sudden appearance of UFOs around the world, and especially in the US, in 1947 so compelling as evidence that the Nazis had indeed set up their operations to create these futuristic weapons and then spread their influence and domination around the world.” (p. 133, Stephen Quayle, Empire Beneath the Ice.)
While Stephen Quayle’s book is not the only book about a Fourth Nazi Reich borne out of the ashes and confusion of World War II, it is perhaps one of the most comprehensive and illustrious books on the topic. Quayle, an avid Fortean investigator, takes the reader through several layers of inquiry, from Operation High Jump, a Task Force 68, as a crusade to discover Nazi hideouts in the Antarctica, as well as through details of fantastic Nazi “super-science” and examples of high-tech “flying saucers” and Nazi stealth craft, to outlines of the international web of bankers and industries that promoted and engineered the rise of a Nazi Fourth Reich. He concludes with the belief that members of this international cabal (which includes the United States of America) hide behind a fake space program and assorted modern scientific-occult-esoteric movements of this powerful Nazi outgrowth.
“At the end of WW II, both the US and Russia were in a race to secure German technology and inventions for their own use,” says Quayle. “Both sides undoubtedly realized that their world philosophies were at odds, and that German technology might give them a winning edge over the other. Scientists, scientific papers, equipment, and even whole manufacturing plants were uprooted and exported back to America and Russia.” (p. 162.)
Quayle believes that the Nazi Antarctica Station 211 is a virtual Shangri-La that forced Admiral Richard Byrd’s Operation High Jump (Task Force 68) back from his 1947 expedition to the South Pole, where he soon found the Task Force fighting against the Nazi use of high-tech “flying discs.” He also entertains the theory that Byrd ventured into a “hole” at the Pole (perhaps North and South Poles), an inner world that science only contemplated, and the Fourth Reich converted into their domain. He feels it could be a “Star gate” of sorts, if not an actual location.
“However, given the many myths that all cultures have about cities below the earth, it is reasonable to think these might be based on actual caverns,” says Quayle. “It is known that very extensive caverns exist all around our planet, and the notion that some might have remained undiscovered until the 20th Century is not too far fetched, especially given the fact that Admiral Byrd, as well as the Nazis, were mounting expeditions with an eye toward finding entrances into a hollow Earth.” (p. 256.)

HIDDEN SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENT

Quayle says that many Nazi occultist beliefs have secretly invigorated society through “the shadow government of Nazi overlords,” and the lingering philosophy of the Ahnenerbe (racial supremacy). Scientific beliefs in “another dimensional plane” have been realized in the European Organization for Nuclear Research’s atomic experiments (CERN) and the large Hadron Collider (LHC).

Quayle says: “Might it be that the work behind CERN is not quite as mundane as trying to prove current physics is correct but rather to find a way to create the physics equivalent of a science fiction Star gate or perhaps contact angels?” (p. 297)

Quayle speculates that the splitting of the atom as a nuclear weapon will be “the real ‘super weapons’ created by such technology,” many still on the horizon (p. 303).

LONG OCCULT HISTORY

Nazism had a long occult history involving many ancestor philosophies and persons. One of the major components of the Nazis was “Vril Society.” The Nazi mythology about the superiority of Aryans, formulated by relationships such as Gerald Suster, a former disciple of Golden Dawn adept Israel Regardie, who was also a disciple of Aleister Crowley.

Dietrich Eckart also was a “primary figure” who “groomed” Hitler for his passionate hatred of the Jews. The Ahnenerbe (“ancestral heritage”) was headed by SS Colonel Wolfram von Sievers, and included “occult practices and research into the supernatural.” (p. 65) These attempts surrounded several “unusual flying machines,” including those which were called “flying saucers.” Speaking of Neuschwabenland (a 230,000-square mile slice of the ice continent claimed by the Nazis), Quayle says: “The evidence suggests that Hitler and his followers used extensive time and resources to create a huge empire under the ice in Antarctica and all indications are that it has continued to thrive since then.” (p. 72.)

EMERGENCE OF THE FOURTH REICH

A large portion of Quayle’s book entailed the history of “pretend technology” in which super-science masqueraded behind the cover of our popular space programs, and also tells how a Fourth Reich grew and manifested itself through major corporations, banks, and industries: “Obviously big banking, big business, and big government in the US, Germany, France, and elsewhere all worked together,” says Quayle, “to ensure the Nazis came to power in Germany, that their wealth was preserved after the war, and that most of those involved in the often illegal and certainly immoral activities would go unpunished and generally unrecognized as enablers of The Third Reich.” (p. 210) Quayle quotes author Josiah DuBois (The Devil’s Chemists) on how I.G. Farben chemical firm, Bayer, DuPont, the Standard Oil companies, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Union Carbide, Dow Chemical, Texaco Oil, and many others, supported the Reich as “proverbial merchants of death.” Quayle owes much to fellow researchers such as Jim Marrs, Ray Palmer, John Keel, Jan Van Helsing, Jim Wilson, Henry Stevens, Nick Cook, Christof Friedrich, Herbert W. Armstrong, Joseph P. Farrell, and many others in this well-illustrated and documented book.

“The large industries that powered the Nazi state sidestepped disaster, preserving not only major German corporations,” says Quayle, “but also allowing those who owned them to retain control through the end of WW II, into the rest of the century, and right up to today.” (p. 199.)
