Compared to a real life Indiana Jones, Joshua Shapiro has personally taken a number of high adventures to Peru to investigate first-hand both ancient and modern mysteries of this mystical and magical land. Shapiro’s quest has been one in search of matters of high-strangeness, from UFOs to the ancient spiritual insights of the shaman – but especially to the various varieties of human shaped crystal skulls that have turned up here and there around the world. A powerful vision of a “blue skull” somewhere in Peru, yet to be discovered, has compelled Shapiro to further explore the Peruvian landscape.

Shapiro believes that these crystal skulls are important, that they can communicate spirit messages to people who with good intentions meditate with them. He has become regarded as an authority on the crystal skull mystery and controversy.

This book, illustrated with a good number of photographs, will provide you with the latest up-to-date information available on Shapiro’s research and investigations.

Recently returned from the History Channel, this popular and prolific author is well-known for his “Indiana Jones-style” story telling. His fascinating and thoroughly documented accounts are collected from all over the world. In addition to these compelling stories of genuine ancient treasure retrievals there is also a section in this book that details situations where faked artifacts have been peddled to unsuspecting buyers as well.

Besides being a comprehensive and detailed compendium of factual ancient treasure retrievals, the book also has great photos of sites and artifacts.
