The author, Brad Steiger, certainly needs no introduction, and his long and extensive background involvement in the fields of paranormal research and investigations, as well as ufology, is all widely known. This massive 678 page volume written by the most prolific author in the paranormal field chronicles hundreds of fascinating and well-documented case studies regarding haunted sites and so-called spirit encounters. Filled with pictures and illustrations, this book references many classic ghost stories while it also presents numerous, previously unpublished accounts from credible paranormal investigators, researchers and witnesses from all over.
Two features in this thought-provoking book were written by our good friends and colleagues Bret and Gina Oldham of Halo Paranormal. You may recall interviews we’ve done with Bret and Gina in past issues of our magazine, on our radio show, and articles and interviews that Bret has written for us.
Brad’s book is an extensive compilation of accounts that cover virtually every category of ghostly encounter and supernatural manifestation, showing you from coast-to-coast major supernatural hotspots. This book should be a delightful and educational reading experience for beginner and long-time student alike.

Some of you may have heard our wonderful interview with this author last month on our Alternate Perceptions radio show on liveparanormal.com. A real life “touched by an angel” account (actually that’s angels in Peter’s case!), the author is an extraordinarily talented harpist who produced his first album, Harp Magic, after only ten months of playing this beautiful instrument. For many his music communicates profound and deep mystical insights and truths, besides just being great audio for meditation and relaxation. In fact, a 70-minute CD of his most beloved pieces of music are included in the back of the book.
In this book, Peter takes you on his moving life journey from childhood to the present, and from southern sunny California (where he was born) to ancient temple sites in Central America to the highlands of Peru. He has undergone over a quarter of a century of “deep space exploration” that began in his childhood with out-of-body experiences and through the years has included transformative experiences of guidance and insight in dramatic encounters with angelic beings.

This book features some of the original artwork of one “Dr.” Francis Ekis, as well as information regarding anti-gravitational technology, free energy, and presents its evidence that down through history “our planetary brothers” have had a hand in helping ancient man to evolve, as evidenced in ancient sites worldwide where mysterious harmonic energy fields and such allegedly manifest.
The book leaps to conclusions that are slanted and sensationalistic. For example, on page 39 of my review copy, I read: “Over the millions of years that the UFOs have existed, they have had a system to produce free electricity, for all industries. They are also very aware that some people wish to use this power as a weapon of mass destruction.”
Our recorded history can’t take us back anywhere near that far. However, in fairness we read that Francis Ekis was a contactee so possibly (but I’d need mighty persuasive evidence to convince me) he had access to knowledge and information that the vast majority of us don’t have. Allegedly, with alien help, he built an anti-gravity space craft and with his faithful dog (who he was able to communicate with—one of those animal whisperers) headed off on their first flight for the North Pole to explore the entrance to the legendary and highly controversial “Hollow Earth.”
We also read that Francis has “left the planet” (I’m assuming in his space craft) so this book and the words, ideas, stories, illustrations and photographs allegedly compiled and contributed by him may be all we have left.
While I always stress the need to be open-minded, the reader definitely needs to be very cautious and objective with this book.
