Artificial Intelligence and Accepting Change

by: Stan Prachniak, MBA

We experience some sort of change nearly every day of our lives. Change can be forced upon us, or we can choose to be an active part of the process. Things in our world are constantly changing, and a current example of a revolutionary change is that of how artificial intelligence (AI) is impacting multiple areas of life’s daily activities.

AI is changing our lives in ways we never could have imagined, and people are up in arms about it taking jobs away from individuals in various professions. While this may be upsetting to many of us, we have to figure out a way to move forward because AI has been in our lives for many years already (whether we have realized it or not), and it is not going away. We can choose to accept and adapt to change as it occurs or we can do nothing, get left behind, and be forced to adapt later. No matter what we do, change is going to occur. We can decide to resist or accept it.

AI it has its flaws, but it also allows us to make our lives easier in many ways. When we accept and take advantage of the opportunity to take control of this situation, we get to choose when and how much to utilize this revolutionary technology. When we accept that AI offers us a more efficient way of living our lives, we can begin to experience the positive impact it can have. Much like the industrial revolution made producing things like vehicles more efficient, AI is providing a variety of ways to help us operate more efficiently in our careers and daily activities. If we can learn to view our interactions with AI programs as a collaboration rather than a takeover, then we can discover all the ways in which its use can save us time and energy—to make our lives easier.

Freedom To Change offers a way for you to learn how to accept change in your life and even a way to choose to make meaningful change in your life. For more information on the Freedom To Change materials, visit www.freedom2change.org.
