Graham Phillips, a former British radio journalist and BBC broadcaster, is the author of such previous works as The Lost Tomb of King Arthur, The Templars and the Ark of the Covenant, and The End of Eden. He is widely regarded as a meticulous historical researcher and his Wisdomkeepers of Stonehenge does not disappoint. It is yet another comprehensive and thoroughly thought-provoking historical masterpiece. He introduces us to the incredible ancient wonders of the Megalithic Culture of the British Isles. While most of us are in awe at the staggering 5,000-year-old Stonehenge, the author lets us know right off that it is merely one of thousands of stone circles these ancient inhabitants of the British Isles erected so long ago.

While most of us are probably already aware that these stone circles were aligned with the sun, moon, and certain stars. Phillips further argues that these sites were an important part of an elaborate system of health care and the preservation of ancient medical knowledge, and that astronomical alignments helped to notify the ancient Druids when the cultivation of medicinal plants needed to occur. The author even suspects that these ancient people may have even discovered the cure for cancer.

There is a highly impressive amount of detailed information and research that went into this book and it has a series of beautiful color photographs of these ancient and incredible sites that will take your breath away and have you wanting to start planning for a trip to the British Isles.
