Described as an indepth analysis of the late Zecharia Sitchin's revelations concerning the ancient Anunnaki, as well as formerly undisclosed information, author M. J. Evans, Ph.D., a professor emeritus at SUNY Empire State College, has appeared on the TV series Ancient Aliens, was a friend and colleague of Sitchin, and spends most of each year in Turkey studying ancient sites and landscapes.

The author carefully reviews thoroughly Sitchin's data and conclusions, drawing also from nearly 20 years of many personal conversations with him. She also explores his controversial prediction of a nuclear event happening on earth in our near future - 2024 AD.
